For Vince Martin, founder and namesake of Vinny’s Italian, cooking has always been a family affair. Inspired by time spent helping his mother prepare family meals, Vince knew from the age of ten that he wanted to work in a kitchen. On the heels of a Bachelor’s degree from OSU’s Fischer Shool of Business, Martin enrolled in the culinary program at Le Cordon Bleu, before returning to Columbus to begin his career. Rising through the ranks of a handful of notable columbus eateries, Vince eventually found himself at Forno where he quickly secured his position as Corporate Executive Chef of Corso Ventures, a position which he has held for two years. With the Opening of Short North Food Hall, Vince saw an opportunity to serve to the neighborhood the nostalgic Italian-American dishes of his youth.
