Inspired by traditional Mexican street stands and markets, owner Walter Eguez plans to
bring fresh and vibrant flavors of Mexico to the Short North. Mimicking the amazing
techniques of Mexican taqueros, Walter has created a constantly evolving menu using
primarily locally sourced ingredients.
Self-described as “DIY Street Food,” Taquero welcomes guests to create and customize
their own meal from a wide range options. From burritos to salad bowls and quesadillas,
guests will be able to choose their favorite protein and toppings while their creation is
handmade to order.
