Short Grain

Jeff Tsao came to Columbus at the age of three when his parents who took over the famed Kahiki restaurant in the ‘80s. His upbringing centered around the restaurant and he worked in both the kitchen and dining room as he made his way through school. After graduating from OSU, Jeff enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY to learn the classic fundamentals of professional cooking. He began working at The Four Seasons in Boston and opened the Four Seasons Hotel in San Francisco before moving to Australia and opening Fukuryu Ramen, which went on to become Melbourne’s #1 Ramen restaurant, an honor it retains to this day. Jeff brought his successful Ramen concept home to Columbus where it now has two locations
